Ear Bindings

Part of the Deaf Dysmorphia collection, this 3D printed ear binder obscures the ear, transforming silence into ornament. By covering a site associated with communication and diagnosis, the work reframes deafness as presence rather than absence.

Functioning as both adornment and intervention, the piece challenges how the body is read and made visible, where absence becomes form and restraint becomes expression.

Materials: Faux pearl, crystals, gold leaf, 3D printed PLA, polished finish.
