Probable Normal Hearing

Series, 2019-2025

This body of work examines medical misdiagnosis and Deaf identity. Canvases reproduce the artist’s personal audiogram charts, tracing progressive hearing loss from birth to age eighteen. Paired with sculptural ear forms, the installation questions how medical systems measure, classify, and interpret the Deaf body.
